First stop: The Realm of the Tardigrades

“What is a Tardigrade?” I hear you ask. Well, look carefully around this page and maybe you will spot one, or two, or perhaps even more. Tardigrades are just amazing, and you never quite know where you might come across one. I’ll be sharing more about them with you here, soon, but, if you can’t wait, my newest book is already out and will tell you much more. It’s called Tardigrades: Nature’s Greatest Survivors and here’s a peek at the cover.

Perhaps you’ve already read Tardigrades: Nature’s Toughest Survivors. I’d love to hear what you think. You can write to me, if you like, using this contact form. Or you can send me a real, live letter, via the publisher of Tardigrades, the CSIRO – that stands for Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, by the way. Sounds important, doesn’t it? And it is. Later, why don’t you check out their website and find out more about them? This might be a good place to start: find out about their magazine and blog for kids, Double Helix. Here is CSIRO’s* mailing address:

CSIRO Publishing, Private Bag 10, Clayton South VIC 3169, Australia

Well, maybe you don’t really want to know anything about CSIRO, or certainly not after all that. If you just want to learn more about my other children’s books, click right here …  Oops! I mean … over there >> Find out about all of my children’s books.

Happy reading,

Anne

*Did you know most people say “sigh row” not “see-ess-eye-are-oh”. Sound’s a lot more meaningful, doesn’t it? One could imagine sitting in a little boat, on a vast lake, rowing across to the other side, upon which sits the grand institution itself. As you row, you go, “sigh, row; sigh, row …” Keep it up. One day you will surely get there.
